Hockey Clinic

West Michigan Pro Hockey School

“Hello future Marquette camp parents, players and coaches! This is Ben Warda, owner and head instructor of West Michigan Pro Hockey School. I’d like to start by thanking Chris Roose and the entire Iron Range Hockey Association board for helping us bring one of our week-long training camps to the Berry Events Center from August 21 – 25. To give you a better idea of what we’re all about, our training focus 100% on skill development in every aspect of the game along with practice plans and off-ice workouts designed to drastically improve our players to better prepare them for the upcoming season. We use a detailed itinerary every single day at camp which we follow to the very minute. The idea behind this method is to preach attention to detail and create the training camp structure the players would receive at the junior, college, and professional levels. Every on-ice drill, mini-game, and battle drills are adopted directly from junior, college, and pro training camps that our staff have gone through. What also sets our hockey school apart from any other is EVERY STAFF MEMBER AT WM PRO IS A CURRENT PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY PLAYER OR COLLEGE COACH. This has always been very important to me to provide our players with the best teaching possible to maximize their improvement while at camp. For further immediate details I encourage you to check out our website to learn more about our staff and our focus. Also, all registration can be completed at the website by clicking the “Register Now” tab and filling out the online registration form. After completing the form you simply select the “Marquette Player or Goalie” option at the drop down menu to the right of the page and pay with a credit card. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at or call @ 248-941-9807. Keep in mind, CAMP SPOTS ARE LIMITED to insure the proper coach to player attention. I’ve also attached the Marquette Camp Newsletter to this email, which includes the daily camp itinerary so be sure to check that out as well! Thanks everyone, I hope to hear from you all soon!”
